Project Description
Motivation: Label-free optical microscopy offers a powerful approach for imaging biological samples without the need for fluorescent labels or chemical stains. It preserves the natural state of cells and tissues while reducing sample preparation time and phototoxicity. These advantages make it well suited for long-term, real-time biological observations.
Our group is establishing label-free optical sensing and imaging infrastructure to support ongoing fundamental biological research and future biosensing and clinical diagnostic applications.

Desired Project Deliverables
Development of novel label-free optical microscopy platform with computational algorithm for data acquisition, to obtain quantitative information, and automated feature extraction of specimen under investigagtions. Verify and validation of imaging methods using biological and clinical samples.
