The University was founded to be a highly connected international institution, and today it is home to faculty, staff and students from over 100 countries. The rich mix of perspectives and ideas that this brings drives innovation and ensures that we stay relevant and focused on the issues that affect the world today. In addition to the research collaborations that enrich each of our programs and centers we offer the opportunity to form partnerships that allow students from other institutions to join KAUST as interns or on dual degree programs.

Special Programs

The 3+2 Degree Program in Material Science and Engineering between SCUT and KAUST offers an opportunity for SCUT students to benefit from the culturally diverse atmosphere, friendly research groups, well-established lab facilities and generous studentship support provided by the KAUST community. The partnership developed through this joint degree program will facilitate future interactions between research scientists via student exchange. My working on the SCUT-KAUST program discussion has been an exciting and rewarding experience."
